Singapore Press Holdings

Project Overview

At Su Yeang Design, I worked on Singapore Press Holdingsโ€™ corporate rebrand as the organisation developed its identity as a multi-platform media group.

Brand positioning was a shared agency effort. I designed the SPH logo and visual identity, as well as its 25th-anniversary mark, and carried the identity through the detailed rollout, including guidelines, corporate materials and templates.

The Challenge

SPH needed a corporate identity that could represent a diverse media business and work consistently across print, digital and physical environments. The task extended beyond the logo to the everyday materials through which people would encounter and use the brand.

I translated the new positioning into the identity and its applications, working through the details needed to make the system usable. This included presentation templates, stationery, recruitment materials and digital applications, alongside the anniversary identity.

Impact

The identity was adopted across SPHโ€™s corporate communications and remained in use for more than a decade. The project demonstrates my experience taking a shared strategic direction through to a cohesive identity and practical rollout across a large organisation.
